Privacy Policy
Privacy and Security
FileOnQ believes that strong electronic privacy is crucial for the ongoing success of the Internet. In order to deliver products, services and advertising that are specifically relevant to you, a certain amount of certain personal information is required. Our pledge is that FileOnQ will not release your personal data to any third parties without your consent or as required by law.
Information that FileOnQ collects
Our registration form asks users for name, email address, age, gender and zip code. In addition, each user enters a unique user name and password to identify their account. This information is required in order to provide you with requested services. We also request certain demographic information, which we use in aggregate form, but that information may be provided at your option. FileOnQ's Web site also logs IP addresses and browser types but we do not link IP addresses to anything personally identifiable.
Use of the information this site gathers/tracks
We use your IP address to help diagnose problems with our server, and to administer our web site. We use customer contact information from the registration form to contact the member when necessary and to provide regular information on FileOnQ. Users may opt-out of receiving mailings.
User name and password are collected to verify the user's identity and for account identification and management. During the course of working with FileOnQ's applications, members may create files that are stored with their user account. Each file can be marked as public or private, and files are marked as private by default. Only members can see and access their personal private files. Files that are marked as public may be accessed by anyone with the URL to that file. Files are typically marked as public when members want to share those files with others, and members must provide the URL of their public files to others in order to give them access to these files. You cannot find other member's public files simply by browsing FileOnQ.
In addition, FileOnQ has a gallery of public application templates. The members of FileOnQ have contributed many of these templates. Any files in the public gallery can be freely accessed by visitors to, and members of the site. This site contains links to other sites. Access to servers containing personal information is strictly controlled and limited to certain individuals within FileOnQ. Our internal security policies are periodically reviewed and enhanced as necessary.

From time to time at the discretion of FileOnQ, you may be allowed to browse the site and use applications without entering any personal information (required for membership). If this situation occurs, you will remain anonymous during your visit. Should you want to save any of the files you have viewed or created with FileOnQ's applications, you will be prompted to become a member, or to login if you are already a member.
After becoming a member of FileOnQ, you may receive periodic email newsletters from us. These newsletters contain information on new features and facilities of note at the web site. They are intended to be a member service. Our site provides users the opportunity to opt-out of receiving communications from us directly by changing the settings on the member's personal Preferences page.
Correct/update
If your personal information changes, or if you want to change your password, you may do so directly on your personal Preferences page.
Children's privacy
Our site is directed at a general audience and not at children. We do not knowingly or intentionally collect personally identifiable information from children. If it is brought to our attention that a child under thirteen years of age is enrolled as a member of our web site, we will place a hold on that account until we are contacted by a parent or guardian and given consent for that child to use our products and services.
